Trip Ideas and Suggestions for Dubai, UAE

Dubai, Personal

image So I am finally going to Dubai for the first time this year in the Fall and figured I would gather all the ideas and research from scouring the web into a single post.  Hope you find it useful.  I will post my final itinerary and a record or my trip here also.  I am sure this won’t be the last post about Dubai so click here to search my blog for Dubai related posts and pages.

Shopping in Dubai

Activities in Dubai

Eating in Dubai

  • Flavours on Two at the Towers Rotana Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road
  • Al Muna buffet at the Mina A Salam hotel
  • Al Iwan buffet or Junsui (asian buffet) at the Burj
  • Al qusar buffet, excellent but best on fridays for brunch as its spead over all 3 ground floor resturants.
  • The hilton and Sheraton both good buffets but different cusine every night (indian, chinese, seafood, italian, mexican, international etc)
  • The waves at mina seyahi is ok and all your drink included
  • Blue orange at the westin is good for food selection but found it abit boring and lacking any atmosphere
  • Spice island is a great buffet (think its at the radisson down town) as is the market place at JW marriot hotel
  • Spice Island is the Renaissance in Deira.
  • Definately and without a doubt at the Burj al Arab.. really worth the money.. the amount of food can feed a small African country.. as for the variety.. WOW!
  • Dinner cruise on Bateaux Dubai on Dubai Creek:
  • Bahri Bar

Cute blog! I just want readers to know that ski Dubai resort is the least green ski resort because of tons of oil burned to keep it cool! Not at all eco-friendly :(
