Vancouver approaching 3 million population, The Canada Line and a video

Greater Vancouver. Its about 75km by 64km. A region sorrounded by water and connected by bridges, it welcomes visitors from around the world. Every year around 1 million people visit Vancouver on cruise ships. Two seaports, and one airport taking 16 million people by air per year. More people, more cars, more trucks but the land area hasn’t grown. Congestion is frustrating for everyone but in 2009 things will change.

Woohoo! I won the ReadWriteWeb contest for Web 2.0 Expo tickets!

Last week, Richard McManus, editor of ReadWriteWeb held a contest to giveaway 3 tickets (worth $1500!) to the Web 2.0 Expo in Moscone West, San Fransisco.  In exchange all you had to do was “define Web 3.0″.  Here is my entry.
